Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information daVinci (“daVinci”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the website https://davinci-v2.gallery (the “Service”), how we use it and what you can do about it. Words defined in our Terms of Service have the same meaning here.

1. Blockchain data is public

daVinci is a marketplace for NFTs on public blockchains (Ethereum and Shardeum; NFTs from the retired Harmony network are kept as an archive). Your wallet address, the NFTs you mint, buy, sell or bid on, and every transaction you send are recorded on these blockchains. That information is public, permanent and outside our control: nobody, including us, can change or delete it.

The same applies to files and metadata of NFTs, which are stored on IPFS, a public file network: once published, they can be copied and kept by anyone.

2. What we collect

• Wallet address. When you connect your wallet and sign in, we receive your public wallet address. Signing in is a free signature in your wallet; it is not a transaction and gives us no access to your funds. We never see or store your private keys or recovery phrase.
• Profile. If you create a profile, we store what you enter: user name, tagline, description, avatar image, website and social media handles. Your profile is public.
• Content and activity. NFTs you create (name, description, tags, files, royalties, unlockable content), collections, sell orders, auction bids, comments, likes, reports and gallery bookings, and the related transaction hashes.
• AI Video Studio. Images you upload, the descriptions you write and the videos you create. They are private to you until you publish them. Uploads and private videos are deleted after 72 hours.
• Technical data. Like every website, our servers receive technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. It is used to run the Service and keep it secure, and it is kept only in short-lived server logs.

We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number or postal address to use the Service.

3. How we use it

• to run the marketplace: show NFTs, profiles, prices, ownership and activity;
• to keep you signed in and protect your account;
• to award badges (Verified, Golden Artist) based on your public VINCI balance;
• to prevent abuse, fraud and copyright infringement, and to handle reports;
• to fix errors and improve the Service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We use only cookies that the Service needs to work:

• a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 7 days (it cannot be read by page scripts);
• small cookies that remember your wallet address, wallet type, network and light or dark theme.

Your browser’s local storage also keeps a few conveniences, such as a mint that was sent but not yet saved, so it can be finished later. You can delete cookies and site data in your browser at any time; you will then be signed out.

5. Service providers

We use these providers to run the Service. They receive only what they need for their task:

• hosting of the website and database (Railway) and of images and the IPFS node (Contabo);
• blockchain node providers, to read the blockchains;
• Alchemy, to show the NFTs you hold on Ethereum from other platforms;
• CoinGecko and GeckoTerminal, for prices (no personal data is sent);
• an AI video provider, which receives the image and description of videos you create in the Video Studio;
• your wallet (for example MetaMask), which has its own terms and privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

Profiles, NFTs and activity are kept as long as the Service runs or until you ask us to delete your off-chain data. Video Studio uploads and private videos are deleted after 72 hours; published videos stay in the Community until their end date. Server logs are kept only for a short time. Blockchain and IPFS data cannot be deleted (see section 1).

7. Your rights

You can edit your profile at any time. You can ask us for a copy of the off-chain data we hold about your wallet, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to the address below. If you live in the European Union, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

8. Children

The Service is for adults (18 or older). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Security

We protect the Service with signed sessions, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted server access. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for the security of your own wallet.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on the Service.
